No, that's not a series of random poetry quotes, it's a list of the most popular internet browsers on the market. If you're like me, as 74% of internet users are, you use Internet Explorer.
It's a love/hate relationship. I'm just used to it so I use it as my default browser even though it's slower and more prone to bugs than its competition. However, I do get a chance to use half a dozen other browsers on a daily basis when checking to see how my sites look with those and this is what I've found.
Firefox wins on performance and speed. It's quickly growing in popularity - now a favorite of 18% of internet surfers - and I'm probably going to switch over one day.
So what am I waiting for? Chrome. It's the newest browser, and I predict it will be the most popular one within a few years. It's lightning fast, opens quickly, and I haven't found any bugs yet. However, it's missing one important feature: the Google toolbar. Very strange because Chrome is made by Google! As soon as they integrate the tool bar, I'm sold.
Until then, I'll probably convert to Firefox, tomorrow, or possibly next week. But definitely soon (maybe).
